Disconnect a social account
Open the app, go to Settings → Integrations, find the account and press Disconnect. You can also do it per workspace, under Workspace settings → Integrations.
What happens the moment you press it: we erase the stored access and refresh tokens, and every scheduled publication and every metrics request for that account stops. For a Facebook Page or an Instagram account connected through one, we also ask Meta to withdraw the authorisation itself. An Instagram account connected by logging into Instagram directly has no such endpoint, so that grant is withdrawn from Instagram’s own settings — see below.
What stays: the account’s identifier, its username and the list of permissions that were granted, so the workspace can show which channel used to be connected; the posts you published through GoGoHype; and the statistics collected for them. They are your reporting history — a year of client reports should not disappear because an account was reconnected. If you want all of it gone, delete the workspace.
Delete a workspace
Workspace settings → Danger zone → Delete forever. Only the account owner can do this.
This is immediate and irreversible. It removes the workspace and everything under it: connected accounts and their tokens, drafts and scheduled posts, published-post records, all collected statistics, audience snapshots, comments and approvals.
Encrypted backups roll off within 30 days. We keep nothing else beyond what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.
Delete your whole account
Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. You will be asked for your email and password to confirm.
Delete your workspaces first — the account cannot be removed while any workspace still exists, so that data is never orphaned. If other people share the account, they have to be removed first as well.
If you would rather we did it for you, write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We answer within 30 days.
Removing GoGoHype from Facebook or Instagram
You can also revoke our access from Meta’s own settings, without opening GoGoHype: on Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, and on Instagram under Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites.
Do that and our access ends at once: the next time our servers try to publish or read metrics for that account, Meta refuses and the channel stops working. It is worth telling us as well, or pressing Disconnect in the app, so we also erase the token we can no longer use.
That route revokes the access but does not by itself erase what we have already stored. To have the stored data removed too, disconnect the account in GoGoHype, delete the workspace, or write to [email protected].
What we hold about a connected Meta account
The encrypted OAuth token, the account or Page identifier and its username, and the permissions that were granted — everything needed to publish on your behalf and to read the statistics of what we published.
Statistics of the posts published through GoGoHype: reach, views, reactions, comments, shares, saves, and — where the platform reports them and you granted the permission — profile actions, link clicks and watch time. Plus daily snapshots of the follower count and of audience demography, which exist only because we record them: Meta reports those only as of today and keeps no history.
We do not read your private messages, we do not collect data about people who are not in your own audience statistics, we do not sell any of it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
